Headphones for the home

We live in an era where premium content is all around us. Modern screens have unbelievable quality, but sound is often the first area compromised as manufactures compete over making the thinnest devices. For consumers, this often means lowering the volume to avoid disturbing those around us, or relying on captions to follow along. Dolby aimed to show what’s possible by developing the worlds first headphones designed for home entertainment.

 

Crafted at Every Level

Dolby didn’t set out to turn the headphone industry upside down. The main goal was to show what was possible in a premium set of headphones while featuring some amazing technology. That ethos carried over into all of the work. Everything was focused about the product, app, and how it makes the users life better.

 

Multi-level Collaboration

The partnership with Dolby went beyond the usual film assets. During the relationship, we helped consult on the packaging, the product site, the app, the Dolby Cinema partnership, the SOHO location in New York, and even their retail experience at B8ta stores across the US.
