For over 70 years Sonic Drive-In has been a one of a kind destination for millions of Americans. It’s the kind of place where everyone can be who they are in the comfort of their car and in the company of their favorite people.

In 2020, we launched a new campaign that celebrates the millions of people, millions of journeys and millions of experiences that happen at Sonic every single day.

From Two Guys to All of America

Transitioning an iconic brand from a campaign that’s been running for years is no easy task. With a carefully considered strategy, we took on the challenge and launched “This Is How We Sonic.” Our new approach opens the aperture from just two guys sitting in a car in order to tell a bigger and more inclusive story.

Throughout the campaign we focused on featuring real people, enjoying real food, and having real moments. Everything the families said was completely their own. We just happened to be there to share it with America.

 

One Day

To help relaunch the brand, we created a 60 second film that shows how people across the whole country experience Sonic on one single day.
