No matter your political preference, if you’re a designer, there is no doubt, you took notice of Obama’s campaign and why wouldn’t you? The campaign was one of the most graphically endowed campaigns in years. It was filled with rich typography and an amazing array of design mediums. Somehow the campaign transcended from a political competition to an art movement.
That’s why Scott Thomas, one of the designers that helped spark the movement decided to catalog some of the best work related to the campaign in a book. Rather then me trying to write about it, i’ll just let him do the talking. If you’re interested in buy the book or getting an online download of it, be sure to check out the book’s site.
