Remember crayons? You know, the small wax sticks used to color with. Well it turns out they’re not just for coloring. Artist Christian Faur has created a new series using crayons as not only for their color, but also for their 3D qualities.

9/11 — it’s hard to imagine a more infamous day. How can you brand it and change it’s meaning to give it new life? This is how. The new logo by Landor is exceptional. It’s so simplistic yet and brilliant. It’s powerful and easily memorable. It’s Brilliant!

Let’s face it, some movies are crap. Between the overuse of Trajan Pro on movie posters and the predictable story lines, it’s hard to find a movie that’s worth the time you take to watch it. There are a few however, that every designer should see.

Chairs! Not a day goes by that we don’t use them. Whether just for sitting sitting down, reading or enjoying the outdoors, chairs have become a vital part of any space—but no one said they had to look boring. That’s why I love these chairs.
